About Our Kennel

We are a family of dog lovers who have the good fortune to own and breed beautiful Labradors.

We bred 3 gorgeous litters from our previous white Labrador Ella, and loved every part of the experience. Unfortunately, Ella is no longer with us.

In 2013, we got our lovely Nel who is now retired after three wonderful litters and 23 pups later from which we kept Luna and later Lucy. What a legend!

After 2 beautiful litters Luna is now also retired - some of her puppies are having gorgeous litters of their own. Nel is also retired after delivering her final litter on October 15th, 2019.

So now it's Lucy's turn. This beautiful girl had a very special litter in 2021. On 25/3/2023 she birthed another big litter, this time by Caesarean Section. Most of the pups from this litter have been sold but there are still three babes available to approved applicatants.

MANGIATO:

What Does Our Kennel Name Mean You Ask?

Our kennel name, Mangiato, is an Italian word meaning ‘I’m eating’, in a continuous sense. We believe that if Labradors were allowed to write their own mission statement (and were suave enough to speak Italian) mangiato would about sum it up!

Avenir Light is a clean and stylish font favored by designers. It's easy on the eyes and a great go to font for titles, paragraphs & more.

Why pay for a dog purchased through a registered breeder?

We are registered as a kennel with Dogs Victoria because we believe that subscribing to a strong ethical framework is important. If you're planning on bringing a dog into your family, it is crucial that you have knowledge of health, background, breeding and the type of temperament you can expect from your dog. This knowledge can only come with a dog from a quality registered breeder, genetic testing and a pedigree.

In addition to this, all breeds of dogs have certain anomalies known to the breed. For Labradors it is most notably hips and elbows and a variety of genetic traits. The testing undergone by a Registered breeder significantly reduces the risks of puppy's developing problems.

If you are unable to purchase a puppy from us we strongly to seek another registered breeder.
